PDP-Laban Senatorial Candidates 2019 Midterm Elections

Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) has revealed their senatorial lineup for the 2019 midterm elections. The partial list of candidates was announced recently by House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez during the mass oathtaking of new PDP-Laban members in Caloocan City.

PDP-Laban Senatorial Candidates

1. Senate President Koko Pimentel

2. Francis Tolentino (former MMDA chair)

3. Rep. Reynaldo Umali (Oriental Mindoro) 

4. Rep. Zajid "Dong" Mangudadatu (Maguindanao) 

5. Rep. Geraldine Roman (Bataan)

6. Rep. Karlo Nograles (Davao)

7. Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque

8. Bong Go (Special Assistant to the President) 

Other Possible Senatorial Candidates for 2019

The names of House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas and Negros Occidental Rep. Albee Benitez, which were mentioned before by Pimentel as part of their senatorial lineup, were not included in the list of senatorial candidates. Some supporters are also asking if other popular personalities and government officials, such as ASec Mocha Uson, General Bato dela Rosa, PAO Chief Persida Acosta, and DOJ Sec Aguirre will be part of the Senate lineup for the midterm elections in 2019.

The ruling party is open for coalition with other political parties if they can't complete the slots for the 12 Senators. They also aim for 12-0 for the midterm elections.
