The ZTE Deal and Other Scam Deals: The Philippines setting

When can we end up this story on the ZTE scandal. Its been month now but still there is no final conclusion on the issue. Who are the people that should be held responsible for this contract which is considered onerous.

The senate is more concerned on politicking. I hope they will not use that for their own benefits. They should think what they could give to the filipino people. Public service.

Why is it that they could not get Secretary Neri and his unofficial adviser on the contract. It seems that the senate is powerless. Where is the checks and balance between the three branches of our government.

No doubt, the Philippines is still one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The authorities are only after the small ones, where are the big fishes? Like Bolante, Abalos, First Gentleman, Neri, Tesda Director? and others....
