Ransom Paid on Red Cross Kidnapped Personnel?

There are rumors of the alleged payment of ransom for the release of Andreas Notter. Although the military, the government and red cross denied this issue, the release of NOtter is still a puzzle. According to the kidnap victim, he was eventually freed by the Abu Sayyaf. It is impossible that the kidnappers will not keep an eye in him even if they were being pursued by the military and other civilian volunteers.

Based on the reports, the ransom paid was around P50 million to P100 million. Another P100 million is also being asked for the release of another Red Cross personnel which is still under his captors.

Why is it that this issue is coming out. Here are the possible answers:

-Abu Sayyaf never released a kidnapped victim or a hostage without a ransom.
-Intelligence reports showed that the Abu Sayyaf members are already looking for additional high powered firearms in the black market. Where did they get the money?
-The kidnap victims are foreigners, that means they could get money from them. That is why they freed Lacaba.
-Involvement of too many emissaries and negotiators.
