Senator DeLima Received Drug Money, Says Kerwin and Dayan

Espinosa and Dayan Confirmed Delima Received Drug Money
The embattled Senator will be facing a harder battle in proving her innocence in the drug trade as Ronnie Dayan implicated her as a drug protector. When Ronnie Dayan was presented to the media by the House of Representatives, he said that Kerwin Espinosa gave his boss drug protection money in 2014. He said that he delivered the alleged payola in several instances. Though, he said that he did not know the exact amount but he is sure that these were large sum of money. He also added that it was the order of his boss.

I'm Not a Drug Lord, Says Dayan

Dayan, for his part, denied that he received money from drug lords and insist that he is not a drug user. In another interview, Dayan mentioned that he never know and met the people in the NBP who are accusing him of receiving cash for the Senator. Most witnesses of the DOJ told the House inquiry that Dayan is the one who get the drug money from the bilibid. This development is a blow to the testimonies of the drugs lords in the Bilibid. Many believed that those testimonies were scripted and only focused to pin down Senator DeLima.

Kerwin Gave DeLima Millions of Drug Money

Meanwhile, Kerwin Espinosa also implicated Senator DeLima. Senator Pacquiao told ANC that Kerwin gave Delima drug protection money. Senator Lacson also confirmed that Delima is also named in Kerwin's affidavit. About 8 million was given to Delima as protection money according to Kerwin's affidavit. However, Kerwin said that the affidavit of his father is fake. The signature was not of his father and countered that most of the names contained in the affidavit were not involved in the drug trade. But it is not surprising that DeLima's name was still included in his affidavit.
