Senator DeLima Received Drug Money, Says Kerwin and Dayan

Espinosa and Dayan Confirmed Delima Received Drug Money
The embattled Senator will be facing a harder battle in proving her innocence in the drug trade as Ronnie Dayan implicated her as a drug protector. When Ronnie Dayan was presented to the media by the House of Representatives, he said that Kerwin Espinosa gave his boss drug protection money in 2014. He said that he delivered the alleged payola in several instances. Though, he said that he did not know the exact amount but he is sure that these were large sum of money. He also added that it was the order of his boss.

I'm Not a Drug Lord, Says Dayan

Dayan, for his part, denied that he received money from drug lords and insist that he is not a drug user. In another interview, Dayan mentioned that he never know and met the people in the NBP who are accusing him of receiving cash for the Senator. Most witnesses of the DOJ told the House inquiry that Dayan is the one who get the drug money from the bilibid. This development is a blow to the testimonies of the drugs lords in the Bilibid. Many believed that those testimonies were scripted and only focused to pin down Senator DeLima.

Kerwin Gave DeLima Millions of Drug Money

Meanwhile, Kerwin Espinosa also implicated Senator DeLima. Senator Pacquiao told ANC that Kerwin gave Delima drug protection money. Senator Lacson also confirmed that Delima is also named in Kerwin's affidavit. About 8 million was given to Delima as protection money according to Kerwin's affidavit. However, Kerwin said that the affidavit of his father is fake. The signature was not of his father and countered that most of the names contained in the affidavit were not involved in the drug trade. But it is not surprising that DeLima's name was still included in his affidavit.

Espinosa and Dayan Appears in Congressional Inquiries

Kerwin Espinosa will be appearing in the Senate inquiry while Ronnie Dayan will appear in the inquiry of the House of Representatives. Let's see of their testimonies will be in tune in pinning down DeLina as a drug protector. So check our site later for more developments on this case.

Dayan Arrested, Confirm Relationship, DeLima Mum

Ronnie Dayan admits relationship with DeLima
Ronnie Dayan, the alleged bagman and former lover of Senator Leila deLima was arrested today in La Union through the efforts of Criminal Detection and Investigation Group (CIDG) - La Union and police officers from the provinces of La Union and Pangasinan. The arrest of Dayan was welcomed by Malacanang as it will shed light on the alleged proliferation of drugs in NBP during the time of DeLima as DOJ Chief.

An arrest warrant was issued by the House when Dayan failed to appear during their inquiry. Witnessess, who are mostly convicts from the NBP, pointed Dayan as the bagman of former DOJ Secretary DeLima. Authorities failed to served the warrant because Dayan went into hiding since the drug issue came out.

Meanwhile, DeLima is keeping mum on this latest news. She said in an ambush interview that she's still thinking of many possible scenarios of what will happen when his former driver will be presented to the media or brought to the Senate or House. Most legislators also welcome the successful arrest of Dayan. However, there are some opposition lawmakers who are worried about the possibility that Dayan will be coerced to testify against President Duterte's nemesis Senator DeLima.

Netizen are also divided on the issue. Some beleive that this will bolster the government's case against the Senator since Dayan is the missing link in the drug matrix. Others, meanwhile, believe that this will be another teleserye  that will be orchestrated by the government, particularly by Secretary Aguirre. For months, the DOJ has put all their resources pinning down DeLima for her alleged involvement in the NBP drug trade. In fact, the DOJ has already issued a subpoena requiring Delima to answer the complaints filed against her by the NBI, VACC, and other groups.

Now that Ronnie Dayan is in government custody, let's see what will happen when the Congressional investigation re-opens. And one of the highlights during Dayan's presentation to the media is his admission of their 7 years relationship.
