Winning Senators 2019 Elections: Latest Pulse Asia Survey

If the the election is held this month, almost all senatoriables from the administration ticket will win the 2019 national elections. Most of the HNP Party (Hugpong ng Pagbabago Party) candidates plus senatoriables supporting President Duterte were included in the magic 12. Based on the latest survey of Pulse Asia, only one candidate from Otso Diretso has a good chance of winning a seat in the next Congress. Re-electionist Senator Bam Aquino is the only opposition senator who can grab another seat in the Senate. Senator Cynthia Villar and Senator Grace Poe are statistically tied at number 1 position.

Here's the breakdown of the latest Pulse Asia Survey results. The top 14 candidates have a statistical chance of winning if the election is held during the survey period.

1. Cynthia Villar, 1st to 2nd
2. Grace Poe, 1st to 2nd
3. Lito Lapid, 3rd to 4th
4. Pia Cayetano, 3rd to 6th
5. Bong Go, 4th to 8th
6. Sonny Angara, 4th to 9th
7. Bong Revilla, 5th to 9th
8. Ronald “Bato dela Rosa, 5th to 9th
9. Nancy Binay, 6th to 9th
10. Aquilino Pimentel III, 10th to 14th
11. Imee Marcos, 10th to 14th
12. Jinggoy Estrada, 10th to 14th
13. Bam Aquino, 10th to 14th
14. JV Ejercito, 10th to 16th

Note: the survey was conducted on the second week of April 2019. Pulse Asia conducted face-to-face interviews on 1,800 adult respondents. The survey has a margin of error of 2.3% at 95% confidence level.

Pulse Asia Senatoriables Survey

Here is the latest result of the survey of Pulse Asia conducted last March 21-28. It showed that the contest for senators in the May 1 election is not one-sided. However, it is noted that only 2 candidates from the administration were able to get into the top 14 position. The rest is taken by the different opposition candidates. Four senatoriables came from the Liberal Party, 4 from President Erap's party, and 4 candidates came from the group of Senator Manny Villar.

Pulse Asia 2010 Presidential Survey

Here is another survey for Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates from Pulse Asia conducted from December 8 to 10, 2009 among 1,800 adults (margin of error of 2).


Presidential Candidates

Senator Noynoy Aquino – 45 percent
Senator Manny Villar – 23 percent
Former President Joseph Estrada – 19 percent
Secretary Gibo Teodoro – 5 percent
Senator Richard Gordon – 1 percent
Brother Eddie Villanueva – 1 percent


Vice-Presidential Candidates

Senator Mar Roxas – 39 percent
Senator Loren Legarda – 37 percent
Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay – 14 percent

Presidentiables for 2010 Elections

The latest Pulse Asia survey showed that it is too early to determine who will dominate the next Presidential elections in 2010. Based on the results, the aspirants are still sharing almost the same percentage of the voters preference.

Other aspirants and being pushed to run for the presidency are Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro and Supreme Court Chief Justice REynato Puno. El Shaddai Brother Mike Velarde also said that he will run if there will be an approval from the CBCP.
