Quick Facts on Super Typhoon Juan

Here are some of the updates on the aftermath of super typhoon Juan that hits northern Luzon. These statistics were gathered by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

- 26 people have been confirmed killed
- Pangasinan recorded the most number of fatalities
- 4 people missing, 3 from Nueva Ecija and 1 from Aurora
- 34 people were injured
- damage to agriculture is estimated at P7.54 billion
- damage to infrastructure is estimated at P67 million
- 187,860 houses were totally and partially damaged
- the typhoon affected at least 1.3 million people
- provinces most affected by typhoon Juan = Isabela, Cagayan, La Union, Abra, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur
- 32,909 people remain in 251 evacuation centers.
