Senator Loren Legarda Runs for Vice President

Senator Loren Legarda already announced her bid to run for vice president in the 2010 elections. However, she did not mentioned her running mate. There are speculations that the Senator is still considering the invitations of other Presidentiables like Senator Manny Villar of NP.

This will also prove that that there might be a problem within the NPC. There were previous reports that other members of the party wants Loren Legarda to the standard bearer but with the endorsement of Chiz Escudero as their candidate for President, it may divide the party.

The only sealed tandem as of this moment are Noynoy Aquino-Mar Roxas of the Liberal Party and Former President Erap Estrada-Jejomay Binay of the united opposition/pwersa ng masa.

  2. Well, she is running, but I don't buy the press release that you were being courted by all presidentiables as their running mate. You were courting them Ms. Senator.

CALLING ALL ZAMBALENOS, ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM BOTOLAN, KINDLY BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT WAS GIVEN INSTEAD OF SOURGRAPING IF YOU'RE REQUEST FOR FUNDING WAS NOT APPROVED. IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU DON'T EVEN USE THE FUNDING FOR THE RIGHT WAY.STOP BEING INGRATES.

  3. My problem with Loren is that now, she's shopping for a running mate much like shopping for shoes.

  11. well for me hindi siya nagshopping para sa runmate niya.. we all want the best for us. maybe the reason why she alligns sen. villar is because she knows that sen. villar is the person as her runmate and best person to be the next leader of our counrty.. question? natakbo ba si chiz? ndi dba? so aun he backout.. il go sen. loren to be the next VP of our country . can u just imagine that sen. loren keeps on helping other while sitting in a senators chair what more if she became the VP for sure madami siyang maitutulong . .

  12. yes, she and villar share a common vision for our country. that's why they teamed up together. add to that, they're both oppositionists ever since they entered politics. having the same beliefs and a clear platform of governance is what's really important in the end.

the issues about her switching parties and running mates is just a way for her detractors to get on to her. but this just shows how strong a candidate Sen. Legarda is in this year's elections. best of luck to her!
